LG Electronics unveiled at the South Korean market with external hard drive, called LG XG1 Chic.
New LG XG1 Chic is made in 3.5-inch form factor, comes with a special stand, which allows the LG XG1 Chic drive to consolidate both horizontally and vertically. According to manufacturer, LG XG1 Chic is equipped with a powerful, but silent cooling system. Also reported that hard drive meets the most “green” standards, for example the requirements of RoHS.
LG XG1 Chic is supports SATA II. Currently, LG XG1 Chic is entered the South Korea market at 1TB version and cost is about $130. In January 2010, LG XG1 Chic will release versions of 1.5TB and 2TB.
