France Company, Linutop SARL has release compact desktop or mini-PC, Linutop 3. It has running on Linux OS. According to manufacture, it is perfect solution for a standalone low maintenance Desktop Computer and Internet Kiosk such as hotels, museums, public terminals, shops, Point-of-Sale Terminals, and so on.
Linutop 3 mini PC is based VIA C7 processor with 1GHz and low power consumption. The amount of RAM in the base configuration is 1GB and expandable up to 2GB, the storage is 2GB Flash Memory (Internal).
The Linutop 3 nettop is equipped with a network controller, Gigabit Ethernet, DVI interface, and D-Sub. Chassis design allows the installation of a single expansion card, the device weighs is about 1.8 kilograms and its dimensions are 23.5×23.6×5.5 cm.
Linutop 3 Nettop has pre-installed specially software adapted version of Linux including Firefox browser, Media Player, and OpenOffice office suite.
