Lumigon T1 and S1 Android phone [MWC 2010]
Denmark Company, Lumigon has presented its two first exclusive models Android-powered mobile phones at MWC 2010, called Lumigon S1 and Lumigon T1.
Lumigon T1 phone is a monoblock form factor with capacitive touchscreen TFT display, while Lumigon S1 is a slider phone with exactly the same touchscreen and hardware keyboard.
The Lumigon S1 and T1 is based 1GHz Freescale i.MX51 3D CPU and running on Android 2.1 with a special Lumigon P-GUI software implementation that making this platform “more friendly”.
Lumigon S1 and T1 Smartphones equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS receiver with A-GPS, accelerometer, FM transmitter, FM receiver, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, 3.5mm audio jack, and a HDMI port, capable of displaying 720p HD format video (1280×720 pixels) to external devices. In addition, new Lumigon S1 and T1 phone can work as a universal remote control, which facilitates the usage of mobile phone as control for home appliances.
Later (it is not specified yet) Lumigon will release another model, called Lumigon E1, performed in a “very unusual form factor.” But sales of Lumigon T1 and S1 will begin in June 2010.
