Magellan has launched their new RoadMate 1700 GPS device, which comes with a 7-inch WVGA touchscreen with 800×480 pixel resolution. Its display is suitable for remote reading which it features highway lane assistance, multi-destination routing with route optimization, and spoken street name guidance. Magellan RoadMate 1700 GPS Device also has interesting feature integrated AAA TourBook guide travel information.

The Magellan RoadMate 1700 GPS Device has support for text-dialogue, microSDHC card slot, mini USB 2.0 port, and video-in jack for connecting a media player, an iPod, or other video source. It also brings pre-loaded with maps of the 50 United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
