Maingear Clutch-13 and Clutch-15 Notebooks for Professionals and Students
Maingear has exposed a pair of Clutch series notebook namely the Maingear Clutch-13 and the Maingear Clutch-15. They are a 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch Glossy LED LCD display respectively, and a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels (WXGA). It is designed for business professionals and students, which is looking for small and powerful mobile solutions.
The MAINGEAR Clutch-13 notebook is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Core i3-330UM dual-core processor, and Intel HD Integrated Graphics with Dynamic Frequency. The MAINGEAR Clutch-15 notebook is boasts an Intel Core i3/i5/i7 mobile processor, and Intel HD Integrated Graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 1GB graphics.
Both MAINGEAR laptops are equipped with Gigabit Ethernet, VGA and HDMI connectors, card reader, dual USB ports, eSATA ports, ExpressCard/34 slot, 8GB DDR3 RAM, up to 750GB hard drive or up to 512GB solid state drive (SSD). In addition, there is a docking station that brings four USB 2.0, RJ-45, VGA, DVI and HDMI output, and DVD or Blu-ray drive.
The cost of the MAINGEAR Clutch-13 bundled with docking station is start price of $1,099, while the MAINGEAR Clutch-15 is offered at $899 (without docking station).
