Maingear has recently introduced its latest desktop workstation that based on Intel platforms, called Maingear Quantum SHIFT. It is the first SHIFT fully optimized for Adobe’s upcoming Creative Suite 5 (Adobe CS5).

The Maingear Quantum SHIFT Workstation is employs up to three NVIDIA Quadro FX graphics cards that enable a GPU accelerated Adobe Creative Suite with design precision. It is powered by a liquid-cooled Intel Core i7 (960/980X) or Xeon X5600 series CPU, up to 24GB (Core) or 96GB (Xeon) of RAM, and up to six HDD/SSD for 12TB of total storage.

Maingear Quantum SHIFT desktop is packs a DVD or Blu-ray drive, up to three GeForce GTX 480s or two Quadro FX 5800 graphics card, a 1kW or 1.5kW power supply. This SHIFT Workstation is sale for starting price of $3,399 (Core i7 model) and $3,995 (Xeon model).
