Meizu Box Android-based Flyme TV box announced

Beside unveiling several smartphones, Meizu has also announced another consumers product, called the Meizu Box. As the suggest name, it is company’s latest triangular-shaped box that is running on Flyme TV based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system. New device will allow users to access Youku, Sohu and other streaming services in China. meizu-box-official-3

Meizu Box provides Bluetooth remote with voice function, which gives more flexibility and enjoy entertainment experience. However, users still can control the device through Android app.

The Android-based Flyme TV box is supporting 4K decoding. So, it is similar to Xiaomi’s Mi Box, which has already went on sale in the United States recently. The connectivity options including HDMI 2.0a and USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n.meizu-box-official-2
