Microsoft drops Xbox 360 Elite price and stops supply of Xbox 360 Pro
As expected, Microsoft has officially announced a price reduction on its game console, Xbox 360 Elite. Starting Friday, the game console with a hard drive with 120GB is $299 that is $100 less than the previous price. So Microsoft decided to respond to a release a competing console, Sony PS3 Slim, which has already sold for the same price of $299.
Microsoft also dropped to $249 price of the Xbox 360 Pro, previously had cost $299. However, if you want to purchase the consoles on such “delicious” price, you should hurry, because once the shops out their stocks, the sale of this version will cease.
Thus, in a short time the market will remain only two versions of the Microsoft game console, Xbox 360 Elite and Xbox 360 Arcade. The latter will be sold at $199, and supplied to it consists of five video games and memory card of 256MB. This design a game console, Microsoft Xbox 360, as well as the cost of accessories to it remained unchanged.
However, one change did occur, supplied cheapened Xbox 360 Elite will remove HDMI cable. A Microsoft representative a question about this said, in effect, that is HDMI cables are sufficiently widespread and accessible, and therefore no need to include it in the kit to the game console, where it is not always useful.
