Microsoft Wayve: device with combine Post-it and Twitter

May 8th, 2009 | Filed under Gadget, Miscellaneous 0 Comments

Microsoft Research team is developing a new device called Wayve, it will seek to combine the Post-it notes with Twitter service. How will it work? It’s fairly simple.

It is like a digital frame but with a touchscreen that user will write for a family to leave messages (short, is not supposed to write biographies) and members of the same may see when you get home.

It comes with a stylus while the technology should work with their fingers (we draw something that is like a letter and it will interpret, Wayve redraw correctly).

What makes this device interesting, it is that after writing the message will automatically send an MMS via their cell phones (or just leave/save it there as if writing a note stuck in the fridge they were). According a spokesperson working on the device, possibility in the future, it will provide video calls.

It is not known or when the sale will cost or how much the new gadget from Microsoft.
