Resource Engadget published an image that, in his words, taken from the marketing materials of the new Zune HD device. By appearance, the model resembles iPod : It is equipped with a large display almost the entire front panel with only one button under it. Judging by the title, the player can playback Video High Definition (HD). Details about the characteristics of Zune HD yet, in fact, Microsoft has not officially confirmed its existence. At the same time, the insider source from Microsoft has already reported that in 2009, the Zune line of players added to the new model.

Remember, the first Microsoft Zune players were released in November 2006. It was planned that they will be able to compete with iPod. However, Zune proved far less successful, as players Apple. The previous generation of players, Microsoft on the design reminiscent of iPod nano, and now, apparently, came above all to copy iPod touch. It is not clear whether Zune HD achieved the popularity of iPod touch, the more so that the player with the touch display of Apple moving as playing with a comfortable tactile control and use of the accelerometer.
