Mobinnova Beamsmartbook is based on new generation of nVidia Tegra platform, including an ARM Cortex A9 dual-core processor with up to 1GHz. The Mobinnova Beam smartbook is built-in 512MB flash memory and expandable to Secure Digital card (up to 64GB).
Mobinnova Beam has an 8.9-inch display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels, but it does not support touch input. There are two USB port, HDMI interface, and a microphone jack. It is running on Google Android OS.
Mobinnova Beam smartbook provides 10/100 Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. In addition, the Mobinnova Beam is working in GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS 850/1900/2100 networks.
The advantages of Mobinnova Beam smartbook is fast boot time, able to work with Full HD video, and weight of about 840g as well as dimensions of 232x186x20.5 mm.
Mobinnova Beam smartbook will be available in US market via AT&T. No word on pricing.
