Mobinnova elan, 8.9-inch, NVIDIA Tegra, and 720p [Computex 2009]

Mobinnova announced at Computex, one of the first netbook (or possibly smartbook or MID) platform based on NVIDIA Tegra, the model was named Mobinnova élan. It is equipped with 8.9-inch display and supports video format 720p. This is indeed a compact and thin device: its thickness does not exceed 20.5 mm and the weight is only 836 grams. Thus, the new law may be considered for multimedia: thanks to the schedule NVIDIA, it supports playback of HD video and animation, Adobe Flash. Mobinnova elan supports innovative 3D interface and it is suitable for tasks such as internet access, work with email, visit social networks, to view documents (supports Microsoft Office files and Adobe), and etc.

* 5-10 hours of continuous viewing HD video and 24 days of audio playback (with LCD off) without recharging the battery

In addition Mobinnova elan at Computex show yet another device based on the NVIDIA Tegra, Mobinnova T8. This 10.1-inch netbook has touch screen, support for GPS, as well as HDMI and VGA-outputs. On the timing of the release and prices of Mobinnova elan and T8 has not reported.
