According to the resource Engadget, it is a new modification of the Modu mobile phone. This device, rightly claiming the title of the smallest mobile phone in the world, it was presented at the Mobile World Congress last year, but it has not yet been released to the market. Modu concept includes the main module, which includes a small display, some buttons, and indeed, support provider. Weight of basic device is only 40 grams, it is indeed very compact solution. At the same time, its capacity is very limited: not even a speaker, a call can only is seen on the screen. The main module of Modu will be used in conjunction with the so-called jackets. This, in essence, building a different form factor with additional functionality, it can be any cellphone from wireless communications to the GPS or the high chamber.

And now, notes Engadget, it was decided to change the design of the base module. It will be touch screen, adapted to manage through your fingers. Indeed, it is more convenient than a few buttons, which are expected to exercise Modu operation. In addition, there will be no need to increase the size of the device: the touch screen to take the front cover and replace the button. Development of a new Modu touchscreen display, estimated to be completed within 8 months. It also became known that the original Modu jackets and a few will go on sale is already very soon, in the coming month.
