MOTO Android Media Platform (AMP), Customizable Devices

MOTO Development Group presented a series of mobile devices running operating systems, Android or Linux, they are MOTO Android Media Platform (AMP), and they focus mainly on the developers. The range devices include three models: a 3.5-inch, 5-inch, and 10-inch display. There is currently already available AMP with 5-inch capacitive touch-sensitive OLED display with support for Multi-Touch. It is assumed that on this basis can be created by portable media players, navigators, and MID. The model is based on the OMAP3430 processor and runs on Android 2.0.
Also among the characteristics of 5-inch MOTO AMP is 8 MP camera, 256MB RAM and 256 MB ROM, video support 720P, a digital compass, accelerometer, wireless adapters are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and 3G (optional). Based on the 3.5-inch AMP, user can customize as media players or smartphones. This model is based on the OMAP3630 processor, it is equipped with 3 megapixel camera and a large amount of memory, and otherwise, its characteristics are similar to 5-inch version.
AMP with a 10.4-inch capacitive touch-sensitive OLED display is designed to create a Tablet PC, digital photo frames or POS terminals. It is built on the OMAP4x processor and it is equipped with two cameras 3 megapixels in front and 8 megapixels, and in addition to Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR and 3G (option). It has an FM radio and GPS receiver. Obviously, the other two representative series of Android Media Platform (AMP) will appear in the next year.
