Motorola Charm touchscreen Android smartphone from T-Mobile USA
Motorola has introduced the upcoming Android smartphone, called Motorola Charm, which is published its specs in internet late June. The handset is comes with Android 2.1 with the MOTOBLURTM enhancements that packs a social networking punch and a BACKTRACK feature that makes screen navigation even more intuitive.
Motorola Charm smartphone sports a 2.8-inch horizontal-oriented touchscreen display with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA), a full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS with A-GPS, e-compass, 512 MB of internal memory and a slot for microSD/microSDHC with upgradeable to 32GB (a 2GB card included).
The Motorola Charm has brings a 3 megapixel camera with support for Kodak Perfect Touch technology, which is makes better and brighter pictures. The smartphone is supported by CrystalTalk Plus technology that improving the quality of voice transmission.
Motorola Charm packs an 1170 mAh battery that provides up to 5 hours of talk time, up to 2 weeks in standby mode (2G networks).
The smartphone supports quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA 1700/2100 MHz. Its dimensions are 98.4 x 67 x 11.4 mm and weight 110g.
Motorola Charm touchscreen Android smartphone should be available exclusively to T-Mobile USA this summer but no word on its price. In the Q3 2010, Motorola Charm will be appears in several other countries.
