Motorola Citrus Entry-level Smartphone

Verizon Wireless U.S. mobile operator and Motorola just announced an Android-Powered smartphone called the Motorola Citrus. It is designed for CDMA EV-DO Rev. 0 network. The Motorola Citrus is an entry-level phone in a compact design.

The Moto Citrus is packs a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA) and support for multitouch. As software platform, it is running on Android 2.1 OS with MOTOBLUR, which is providing quick access to social network sites and e-mail.

Similar to Motorola Spice, the Motorola Citrus has 25% enclosure made from recycled materials and has BACKTRACK feature that allowing users to navigate device, menus, scroll through websites, e-mails, music, home screens, and more without obstructing the display (located at rear of device).

Looks inside of Motorola Citrus smartphone has a 3 megapixel camera, 100MB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot (a 2GB card included), 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 1150 mAh battery.

Dimensions of Motorola Citrus are 59 x 104 x 15 mm and weight 110 g. It should be available in Q4 2010.

Recall, Motorola today announced four more Android smartphones including Droid Pro, Bravo, FlipOut, Flipside, and Spice.
