Motorola Defy rugged phone available now in Telus Canada
The new rugged Android-powered smartphone, the Motorola Defy is now available in Canada via Telus. This Motorola handset is capable to withstand water, dust and scratches.
Telus is offering the Motorola Defy rugged smartphone for costs of $329.99 with a 1-year term, $279.99 on a 2-year contract, and $79.99 on a 3-year term. But you can buy the Defy no-contract on $379.99.
The Motorola Defy has a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen with 854×480 resolution and made of Gorilla Glass, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and VGA (640×480) video capturing, GPS, 3G, Wi-Fi, and a 1540 mAh battery. Telus Motorola Defy smartphone is powered by an 800 MHz processor, 2GB of internal storage, 512 MB of RAM, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), and runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS.
This rugged handset can create a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot with up to 8 devices. Dimensions of Motorola Defy are 107 x 59 x 13.4 mm and weight 118 grams.
