Motorola Defy rugged smartphone hits Germany

The IP67-certified Motorola smartphone, the Motorola Defy is now available in Germany and started selling at The Phone House for priced at €350 SIM-free, €1 on contract.

The Motorola Defy smartphone is a rugged Android device that also guarantees protection against water, dust, and accidental drops. It is come with two color options – black and ‘white on black’.

Features of Motorola Defy are a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of WVGA (800×480 pixel) and Gorilla Glass for keeps scratches away, 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, HSPA, Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi with DLNA.

Motorola Defy rugged smartphone is runs Android 2.1 with Motoblur UI and Swype pre-installed, and boasts an 800 MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 2GB of onboard storage.
