Motorola Droid 3 smartphone available now at Verizon

The third-generation Motorola Droid smartphone is finally available in the US via Verizon Wireless. The Motorola Droid 3 smartphone is listed for priced at $199.99 on a 2-year contract or $459.99 without contract. Previously, this Motorola handset was appears in China but under name of Motorola Milestone 3 (XT883).

Running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, this Motorola Droid 3 smartphone is boasts a 1GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of on-board storage, and a 1540mAh Li-Ion battery.

New Motorola Droid 3 phone has a 4-inch touchscreen display with qHD (960 x 540) resolution, a slide-out 5-row QWERTY keyboard, a rear-facing 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording, a front camera for video chatting, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G connectivity, aGPS, HDMI and USB ports.

Dimensions of Motorola Droid 3 are 2.5 x 4.9 x 0.5 inches and weighs 5.9oz. It is works in quad-band GSM and CDMA EVDO rev. A networks.
