Motorola Droid as Verizon’s Android including HTC Droid Eris

In the network there are new rumors about the Motorola Droid smartphone that is running Android operating system and will be sold in the U.S. at Verizon Wireless. According to an informed source, Motorola Droid is the name of an Android smartphones series given by Verizon operator. It will include a variety of models from several manufacturers. And Motorola Droid is only one of them.
And another device, this line will be the HTC Desire, the final name will be “Droid Eris“. It will go on sale November 6. This is CDMA smartphone in candybar form factor with 3.2-inch capacitive touch display. It comes with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and a slot for microSD memory card. At the moment, it’s known characteristics. While this information has not been confirmed officially, but if it proves true, it is logical to assume that Verizon plans to actively develop the direction of Android in its portfolio.
