Alongside the Moto X Developer Edition smartphone, Motorola has also launched another special version for its phone in the United States, the Motorola Droid Maxx Developer Edition. Based on its product page, this phone is a Developer Edition of Verizon’s Droid Maxx. Like the Moto X DE, the Droid Maxx developer phone will cost $649.99. But you have to wait to grab it since the phone is still ‘coming soon’.
The Droid Maxx Developer Edition comes with an unlockable bootloader. Other specifications are remain same as the regular model such as a 5-inch multi-touch AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It boasts a Motorola X8 Mobile Computing System, which is consist of 1.7GHz Dual-Core Krait CPU and 400MHz quad-core Adreno 320 GPU.
New Motorola Droid Maxx Developer Edition features 3500 mAh battery, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE + EDR, and dual cameras (10MP rear- and 2MP front-facing). It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Developer edition of Droid Maxx has dimensions of 71.2mm x 137.5mm x 8.5mm and weighs 167 grams.
