Motorola Droid X2 Daytona, more powerful and higher resolution

There is information about upcoming Motorola smartphone, the Motorola Droid X2 codenamed Daytona. The handset is the successor of the Motorola Droid X that was released in June 2010 via Verizon.

According to source, Motorola Droid X2 Daytona will brings similar design like its predecessor but comes with more powerful.

The new Motorola Droid X 2 Daytona is boasts a 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core chip (instead a 1GHz TI OMAP3630 single-core processor on Droid X), a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (a higher resolution of Droid X, 480 x 854).

Motorola Droid X2 Daytona is packs an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with record 720p video, USB 2.0 and HDMI connectors, a microSD card slot, and runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS.

The Motorola Droid X2 will be available in the US market via Verizon.
