Verizon Wireless via its official Twitter account, has confirm to launch the Motorola X (aka Moto X) this week. The carrier will sell this Motorola flagship Android smartphone starting August 29 (it’s Thursday) on its online store. If you’re prefer to get it in-store, the phone will be available for the coming weeks.
There are two color options (black and white), which customers can choose it. Verizon’s Motorola X phone will set priced at $199.99 on a 2-year contract. That’s same cost as AT&T offers the Moto X phone (since April 23rd).
Fully assembled in the US, the Motorola Moto X smartphone is first official introduced back in early August. It has a 4.7-inch touchscreen HD AMOLED display and 10MP ClearPixel rear-facing camera. Alongside Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, new smartphone is powered by Motorola’s X8 Mobile Computing System that consist of a 1.7GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor. Other features on the Moto X phone are Bluetooth, LTE, WiFi, NFC, and a 2,200 mAh battery.
In case you want buy another Motorola smartphones on Verizon, there are Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, and Droid Mini. Their prices are $199.99, $299.99, and $99.99, respectively (all of them are require a sign two-year contract).
