Motorola has announced new Android smartphone in Taiwan, called the Motorola Quench XT5. The newly handset was formerly known as the Motorola XT502 Greco. It has a trackball on front panel that easily navigate menus.
The Motorola Quench XT5 smartphone is runs on Android 2.1 OS support Google services (including app store, Android Market), a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen TFT display with a resolution of 320 x 480 (HVGA), 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, 3.5mm headphone jack, 256MB RAM, 512MB onboard memory, and a microSD card slot.
New Motorola Quench XT5 is supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSPA 850/1900/2100 MHz networks.
Cost of Motorola Quench XT5 smartphone is about $400. Its dimensions are56.8 x 114.9 x 12.4 and weight 117g.
As noted, the new smartphone is closing similar to Gigabyte GSmart G1305 (both devices are manufactured by Foxconn).
