January 12th, 2010 Filed under Mobile Phones

In the Internet appeared the first information about the new Android phone, known as Motorola XT720.

According to available data, the new Motorola XT720 is designed for the market in South Korea. Apparently, Motorola XT720 is a close analogue model of Motorola XT701, which was introduced in China in late December last year.

However, unlike Motorola XT701, the Motorola “Korean” model is not equipped with a 5 megapixel but 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. In addition, the Motorola XT720 has HDMI port and a T-DMB (mobile TV). The Motorola XT720 is running on Android 2.0 operating system.

Motorola XT720 Android phone is also equipped with a 3.7-inch touchscreen TFT display with a resolution 480×854 pixel, GPS receiver, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

Sales of new Motorola XT720 will begin next month at SK Telecom operator, the country’s largest mobile operator. Motorola XT720 becomes the first Android phone, which will be available on the South Korean market.
