Mozilla application for iPhone, coming soon
Mozilla CEO John Lilly in an interview with GigaOM hinted that subordinate company intends to submit a custom application for online store, App Store. We know that this service is owned by Apple and includes many different programs for the iPhone and iPod touch.
According to John Lilly, the application will be submitted to the App Store in the next few weeks and will be a surprise to users. But Mozilla CEO did not specify what exactly would constitute their new development.
While the Mozilla community is known mainly as the creator of Firefox, is hardly a new application will be version of “FireFox” designed for the iPhone. After all, in this case it will enter into competition with Apple’s own browser called Safari, which, to put it mildly, not encouraged by the rules, App Store. Perhaps the new program will be the Mozilla version of the Weave service, which allows user to synchronize bookmarks between computers.
