MSI GeForce GTX 285 SuperPipe Graphics Cards: Just Launches

MSI presented the first two graphics cards in its new lineup SuperPipe. The name of this line is derived from “heat pipes” SuperPipe that are part of the cooling system and with different thicknesses. New graphics are made based on the GeForce GTX 285, with 1 GB of GDDR3 memory and supports 3-way SLI mode. The only difference between them is the working frequency. Reference NVIDIA clock speeds has 648/2474 MHz for core and memory, respectively, and the second graphics card operates at high frequencies 680/2500 MHz (core/memory). These graphics accelerators are equipped with 240 stream processors.

A characteristic feature of these maps has become branded MSI Twin Frozr Cooling System. Under its jacket is placed a central unit, where the graphics processor. It went GPU copper tube, 6 mm thick, leading to the central part of video card. A more thick 8 mm tube stretch toward the edges. Hot air is supplied to the solid aluminum radiator, which has two fans.

The new graphics accelerators MSI GeForce GTX 285 SuperPipe has already on sale in Europe at prices up to 340 euros.
