Taiwanese company, MSI today has officially announced a newest fully-evolved G series extreme gaming notebook, the MSI GT740. This MSI GT740 notebook is positioned as a gaming solution which is an Intel PM55 chipset and Intel Core i7 Mobile quad-core processor.
MSI GT740 gaming notebook equipped with a 17-inch TFT-LCD display , nVidia GeForce GTS 250M GPU with 1GB of VRAM DDR3, 250GB/320GB/500GB hard drive, 2-megapixel web camera, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, card reader (SD/MMC/MS/XD), RJ45, RJ11, HMDI, eSATA, D-Sub, three USB port, as well as a DVD Super Multi or Blu-ray drive. MSI GT740 has brings sound system consists of 5 Hi-Fi speakers with authentic SRS Premium Sound (four speakers and a subwoofer).
MSI GT740 gaming laptop is supported up to 4GB RAM DDR3 1066/1333 MHz. As an option, the GT740 computer can be equipped with a Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR. The battery has 3-cell or 6-cell. The MSI GT740 is implemented MSI ECO Engine technology that providing optimal power consumption when powered by battery. Dimensions of MSI GT740 are 395x278x33-39 mm and weight is 3.2 kg. MSI GT740 is running on Windows 7 Home Premium.
