The Taiwanese company, MSI is going to release its newest tiny barebones desktop PC sometime in later April 2014. It is called the MSI ProBox23, which comes with some pretty impressive features. New machine brings a Mini ITX board that supports an Intel Haswell processor.
MSI ProBox23 barebones PC is capable to 4K Ultra HD video output and offers a number of port for extra peripherals. It enables to use Intel Pentium Core i3 / i5 / i7 Haswell processors (up to 65 watts TDP). On memory and storage term, new ProBox23 provides up to 16GB of RAM and up to three storage devices.
You’ll find two SATA III 2.5-inch drive bays and an mSATA drive connector. For an optional WiFi card, users can use a mini PCIe slot. There are a several ports on the outside including an eSATA, Gigabit Ethernet, an HDMI, six USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports. Moreover, it has audio and microphone jacks.
MSI’s system measures 8 x 8 x 2.1 inches and its weighs 2.5 pounds. That’s making the MSI ProBox23 mini PC is a pretty small and allows it to be attach on the back of a monitor – thanks to a VESA mount.
