MSI has updated the technical specifications of its Wind Box DE200 nettop. It was shown at CeBIT, and it was originally based on the Celeron M550 processor with clock frequency of 2 GHz and a GeForce 9400M graphic adapter. Updated nettop changed based on the 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N230, an Nvidia adapter in it replaced by the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4350. In all likelihood, the change resulted from a desire to set the computer manufacturer to reduce its cost.
Moreover, some of the devices as a result, there were lower than claimed. A final version nettop is 1 GB rather than 2 GB of RAM. In addition, the Blu-Ray drive has been removed from specification. Other features MSI Wind Box DE200 include Intel 945GC + ICH7 chipset, 160 GB hard drive, wireless adapter Wi-Fi (802.11 b / g / n), HDMI and VGA ports, and Windows XP Home OS instead of the Vista originally planned. This nettop will be offered in black, white, red, and blue colors. Details about this news, including data on the timing of its release, may be already at the next Computex exhibition.
