Allows Portable Monkey, one of the first owners MSI Wind U123 netbook, which is now only beginning to be marketed in Japan, published online the results of a comprehensive examination and completion of the device. New MSI Wind U123 netbook is based on Intel Atom N280 processor and supports up to 2 GB of RAM. Portable Monkey got the next model of integration: 10-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, chipset Intel 945GSE, Graphics GMA950, wireless Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth, 1.3 Web camera, 2.5-inch hard drive 160 GB, HD Audio, running Windows XP Home SP3, 6 cells battery capacity 5200 mAh, Color White (also available blue, red and gray). Later in the model will be selling MSI Wind U123 with a TV tuner and 3G adapter.
Portable Monkey said that it was a big disappointment at the lack of opportunities to open the rear cover and gain access to components such as hard disk, memory, and Wi-Fi to update, it leads to loss of warranty service (at least in Japan). He also noted that there was a slot for the SIM card, while in Japan MSI Wind U123 with 3G module will be delivered, so the slot is empty. And finally, the owner netbook reported that his lack of a rather weak and unbalanced joint body with the heavy back.
