MSI Wind U150 Netbook with New Atom and Touchscreen

MSI has confirmed plan to introduce new MSI Wind U150 netbook with a touchscreen display and Intel’s new Pine Trail Atom platform. Before, Asus also has introduced in the market its touchscreen netbook in the form of Asus Eee T91.

The MSI Wind U150 will plan to debut at CES 2010 and it may be the first Pine Trail netbook in market. It will also come with Microsoft Windows 7. According to MSI, Intel’s Pine Trail Atom platform will give at least 20% better power consumption and improved graphics performance.

Although it still a year, MSI recently announced that they will introduce a version of the Wind U200 with AMD powered, the Wind U210.

The two new MSI U210 models have similar specifications. The MSI U210-002 has a 12.1-inch screen, an AMD Athlon MV-40 Neo 1.6 GHz, 1GB of RAM, an ATI Mobility Radeon X1250, 160GB hard drive and Windows XP. The MSI U210-010 improves things a bit with 2GB RAM, 250GB hard drive, and Windows Vista. The first machine will come at a price of $570 and the second to $642.
