At CeBIT are giving more details of the new X Series models from MSI, they are ultra netbooks, something like a MacBook Air will be on sale throughout the world, in theory, but first in certain markets such as Asian or European.

By now you have all the details of the MSI X-Slim X340 includes an Intel Core 2 CULVER only low to 1.4GHz, with a GS45 chipset, 13.4-inch screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels (this resolution is to use videos in 720p), a 250GB hard drive 5400rpm, a lot of capacity for this type of laptop so thin, maybe if it was needed here a SSD drive, despite its limited capacity. It also includes 1.3-megapixel webcam, WiFi 802.11-n, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, VGA video output, and HDMI, two USB ports and input / output audio.

MSI will provide a 4 cell battery, increasing the weight to 1.3Kg, holding a weight of netbook. The price is rumored around the € 699 to € 899, below the magic figure of € 1000, but only one with a Core Duo 13-inch screen starts to be something expensive, despite being so thin.
