MTS 916 Touchscreen Phone available now
The Russian mobile operator, Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) has started selling its own-brand Android phone, the MTS 916. The handset is actually the ZTE Racer smartphone.
MTS 916 is running on Android 2.1 OS and packs a 2.8-inch touchscreen TFT LCD display with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA), 3.2-megapixel camera, 200MB of internal memory, microSD card slot (up to 8GB), 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, FM tuner, and GPS.
The newly MTS 916 smartphone is works in GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA networks. Its 1000 mAh battery is enabling up to 3.5 hours of talk mode.
Dimensions of MTS 916 phone are 103 x 50.7 x 12.7 mm and weight 100 g. Cost of MTS 916 touchscreen phone is 6,490 rubles.
