MyDigitalSSD has unveiled its new mini-SATA (mSATA) solid state drives that called the Bullet Proof. It is the second-generation from its Bullet Proof mSATA SSD.

This drive is capable to use in portable devices including notebooks (Lenovo E220s, Y460, Dell M4500, and M6500) or tablets (Eee Slate EP121 and JooJoo).

MyDigitalSSD Bullet Proof has features Toshiba 34nm flash chips, Phison PS3105 SATA2 controller, a 50mm PCIe form factor, a MTBF of 2 million hours, MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory chips, and RAID and TRIM support.

In additional, Bullet Proof mSATA solid state drives also provides sudden power-off recovery, SMART commands, and dynamic bad block management.

The 50mm MyDigitalSSD Bullet Proof can reach read and write speeds of up to 270 MB per second and 200 MB per second, respectively. You can found this SSD in three model options – 32GB ($79.99), 64GB ($139.99) and 128GB ($279.99).
