Myka ION Nettop as home media center

Myka announced a new nettop built for your HDTV, called Myka ION, built on the nVidia Ion platform. Myka ION can serve ordinary desktop computer, primarily designed as a home media center.

The Myka ION nettop is equipped with an Intel Atom 330 Dual Core processor with a clock speed of 1.6GHz, nVidia MCP7A-ION chipset, 4GB of DDR2 RAM and Integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M GPU with supports a maximum screen resolution of 1920×1440 pixels. For video output connectors, Myka ION nettop is provides VGA, DVI and HDMI. It also has build-in Realtek ALC662 5.1 channel HD codec for audio.

As options, it is equipped with Wi-Fi and Blu-ray drive. It is GUI boasts with Ubuntu 9.10 OS. Myka ION nettop also features multimedia software, Boxee, Hulu Desktop, and XBMC, supports Flash technology in standard definition and is able to receive streaming video.

Basic configuration of Myka Ion (without wireless capabilities and Blu-ray drive, but with a 160GB hard drive) is costs $379. Cost with all the options will cost $769.
