NEC Display Solutions has announced three energy-efficient solutions for LCD monitor in AccuSync series, these are two widescreen displays and one standard-aspect display.
NEC AS191 and AS191WM are equipped with 19-inch display but the NEC AS191WM is widescreen. NEC AS221WM is only difference being that 22-inch and widescreen.
New PC monitor products meet the strict standards of ENERGY STAR 5.0 and TCO 5.0 compliance, guaranteeing low power devices, and they have a silver certificate of electrical compatibility with the environmental standards (Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool, EPEAT).
Detailed specifications of monitors manufacturer has not made public. It is known that devices have 1000:1 contrast ratio and response time of 5ms. It can connects to a PC includes VGA and DVI. In addition, the NEC AS191WM and AS221WM are equipped with built-in speaker and headphone connector.
NEC AS221WM 22-inch will go on sale in October for $249. NEC AS191 and AS191WM will be available a month later for $199 and $189 respectively.
