Alongside with the NEC Lavie Light BL550/CS and BL350/CW netbook, NEC has also introduced their LaVie M series notebooks for Japanese market, called NEC Lavie LM550/CS, NEC Lavie LM350/CS, and NEC Lavie LM370/CS. The new notebooks are coming in three glossy color schemes – red, white, and black.

NEC Lavie LM550/CS is powered by a 1.20GHz Intel Core i3-330UM processor, integrated graphics, 4GB of memory, and 500GB hard drive. The NEC Lavie LM550/CS notebook is sports a 13.3-inch widescreen LCD display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and Office Personal 2010. Its costs are 125,000 Yen.

NEC Lavie LM350/CS has similar specs to LM550/CS but boasts a 1.20GHz Intel Celeron SU2300 CPU, 2GB RAM, 320GB hard drive, Intel GS45 Express chipset, and an Intel integrated graphics. The price of NEC Lavie LM350/CS notebook is about 100,000 Yen.

NEC Lavie LM370/CS comes with LM350/CS specifications but addition to digital TV tuner. Cost of NEC Lavie LM370/CS laptop is around 125,000 Yen.

All of them are equipped with three USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, WiMAX, HDMI output, D-Sub, a SDXC memory card slot, and a battery that provides 10.3 to 10.5 hours of battery life. Size of NEC LaVie M series notebook is 330 x 220 x 27 ~ 30.5 mm and weighs 1.79 ~ 1.8kg.
