NEC has announced the availability of its new MultiSync series widescreen LCD monitor that called the NEC MultiSync EX231Wp. It is ideal for the use in medical/healthcare facilities, financial applications, and corporate environments.

NEC MultiSync EX231Wp has a 23-inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), contrast ratio of 3000:1 (25000:1 DCR), a 25ms response time, and 250 cd/m2 brightness.

The EX231Wp monitor is equipped with human and ambient light sensors that made for power-saving system. It has also a premium-grade PVA (patterned vertical alignment) panel with 178/178 degree viewing angles.

The NEC MultiSync EX231Wp LCD monitor has DVI and DisplayPort connections, as well as an USB port.

It will be available next month for priced at $319.
