NEC has recently released a new all-in-one desktop PC in Japan, the NEC ValueStar VW970/ES. It is based on Intel Sandy Bridge platform.

The ValueStar VW970/ES desktop is powered by a 2.0GHz Core i7-2630QM quad-core processor, 8GB of RAM, a GeForce GT 425M graphics with 1GB of memory, and 2TB hard drive. It is also equipped with Blu-ray, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, card reader, TV tuner, two USB 3.0 and six USB 2.0 ports.

NEC ValueStar VW970/ES all-in-one desktop packs a 23-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and support 3D content. Dimensions of VW970/ES are 573-647 x 253-337 x 467-530 mm and weight 18 kg. This desktop is pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) OS.

In addition to NEC ValueStar VW970/ES, the company will introduce another all-in-one PC, the NEC ValueStar VW770/ES. It has similar specifications of VW970/ES but lack 3D support, only 4GB of RAM, and Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics.

There is no word on pricing yet.
