NEC X462S 46-inch and X552S 55-inch super-slim commercial displays

NEC Display Solutions has officially introduced a pair of new super-slim X Series commercial displays. They are namely the NEC X462S and the NEC X552S, which measures 1.8-inch depth and has LED-backlighting technology to ensure reduced power consumption. The NEC X462S has 46-inch panel with 500 cd/m2 brightness, while the NEC X552S brings 55-inch in size and brightness of 700 cd/m2. Both industrial-grade large-screen Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) LCD displays have features contrast ratio of 3000:1 and an Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) slot that designed for simplified installations, as well as use and maintenance of digital signage.

It is equipped with DisplayPort, RS-232, HDMI, DVI-D in/out, Ethernet LAN, and DDC/CI for external control. As commercial displays, it provides TileMatrix that support up to 100 displays in 10 x 10 configurations. Moreover, this display features on/off times 24/7 set schedules (real-time clock). The NEC X462S and X552S super-slim commercial displays are need warm up to 30 minutes for optimum color representation.

According to press release, customers can grab the NEC X462S and X552S for price tag $1999 and $3999, respectively. The model with ATSC digital tuner is cost $2199 on NEC X462S-AVT and $3299 for NEC X552S-AVT unit. Company is also selling these displays with a single board computer (OPS-PCAF-WS), which is listed for $2949 (X462S-PC model) and $4049 (NEC X552S-PC).
