Neptune Computer plans to launch its unique smartphone device for gadget fans, namely the Neptune Pine. It is looks like a regular watch but comes with full-featured smartphone. The Neptune Pine wrist smartphone boasts a single-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and 8GB to 32GB of internal memory. New smartphone packs a 2.4-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.
It is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 5MP camera, and FM tuner. Other features are a headphone jack, digital compass, and even monitor your heart rate.
Like most modern smartphones, the Pine smartwatches is uses a MicroSIM card. It can works in GSM / GPRS / EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and HSPA+ 850/900/1900/2100 MHz mobile networks. Its 800 mAh battery is enabling juice the phone for up to five hours of talk time or up to 120 hours of standby time.
As software, the Neptune Pine runs Leaf OS (modified Android operating system). It is expected that the new Neptune Pine will be available in Q3 of 2013 and price of $335.
