Netgear announced the release of wireless-N gigabit router with USB, RangeMax WNR3500L, which provides a large coverage and high-speed Ethernet ports to access ReadyShare to USB storage devices.

Netgear RangeMax WNR3500L Wireless-N Router with USB is also designed for use as Linux, the open source platform for various applications developed by companies, software developers and the community of Open Source. These include such companies as: BigFoot Networks, which works on the acceleration of data over the network for online games; Leaf Networks, which develops technology simplified remote access; Paragon Software, a leading software development for high-speed read and write files on the USB interface and Sputnik, a solution for hot spots.

Netgear RangeMax WNR3500L Wireless-N Router with USB is equipped with a Broadcom 480 MHz MIPS 74K processor with built-in hardware accelerator, 8MB of flash memory and 64MB RAM. It is equipped with five Ethernet-10/100/1000 ports (one WAN port and four LAN port) with auto rate for high speed WAN to LAN over 350 Mbps. It is also equipped with a wireless access point (WAP) with 802.11n repeater mode to increase the coverage. Three internal meta-material antennas expand wireless network coverage and connection stability.

In addition to providing a broadband connection on a wired network port, Netgear WNR3500L Router is equipped with a host USB 2.0 port for network storage USB devices and to develop other custom applications, including remote access, support for DLNA/UPnP Media Server and support for USB modems for high-speed cellular networks 3G/4G/WiMax.

The Netgear RangeMax WNR3500L is protects your network from intrusions with a double firewall to protect against Denial-of-service. To ensure the safety of wireless networks, it used Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) and WPA2-PSK, a Push ‘N’ Connect using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) allows you to quickly and securely connect computers to the wireless network. Netgear RangeMax WNR3500L Wireless-N Router with USB will be available in end of this year.
