ASUS has updated the design of the Eee PC 1000HA netbook. The new version of this model is equipped with an all-new chiclet-style keyboard that improves overall comfort. This allows touch-typists to type at full-speed on its 92% keyboard, even on a small keyboard netbook. However, the Eee PC 1000HA size keyboard is not small: it corresponds to approximately 92% of normal laptop keyboard. This, however, it is an innovation: a model of the keyboard of this size originally proposed.
The main characteristics of Eee PC 1000HA with the release of new versions have not changed, among them are 10.2-inch LED-backlit WSVGA display, 1 GB RAM, 160GB of internal storage HDD, 10GB of Eee online storage on an ASUS server and a Wi-Fi (802.11 b / g) wireless adapter. ASUS said that another advantage of this modification of netbook is extended battery life up to 7 hours. These figures are achieved through the use of energy-efficient Intel Atom processor, the display with LED backlight and the Super Hybrid Engine (SHE). This technology reduces power consumption to a minimum in the case of simple tasks requiring little resources. This can extend the working hours of battery life. The new Eee PC 1000HA has already sold in the U.S. for $ 349.
