New Roku SD, Roku HD and Roku HD-XR Netflix Streaming Players
Just in time for the holiday season, Roku, the maker of the popular box that transmits content from Netflix as well as the Amazon video service, is expanding its line to include three new Netflix streaming media players, Roku SD, HD and HD-XR. Among the new cheapest model is costs $80 and there is a fuller version priced at $130.
The first, Roku SD is an entry-level model, which it is use Yellow-Red-White video/audio cable for video output. Roku SD player is supports 480i resolution only. Roku SD has priced at $79.99.
Second, it is called Roku HD. It has a WiFi 802.11b/g and Ethernet connectivity features as well as HDMI and Component video output. Roku HD player also has High Definition 720p streaming capability. Roku HD is cost of $99.99.
The third, new Roku HD-XR offers Wi-Fi 802.11n dual band connectivity for better reception and a USB port for “future use”, possibly to play content from external sources, such as flash drive or external HDD. Roku HD-XR has priced at $129.99.
Roku also is preparing the Roku Channel Store which seeks to expand programming options that has a small box, including free content from Revision3, and others.
