Sony Ericsson has officially introduced a new mobile phone in Walkman series, which aims to maintain its niche in the market for young boys, with a simple mobile phone but interesting features. It is Sony Ericsson W205 Walkman phone. This phone is candybar form factor. According Sony Ericsson, W205 Walkman phone allow easily share the handset and content with friends and family. Because this phone has multiple phonebook feature that enables users create personalized contact lists that are kept separate.

The new Sony Ericsson W205 Walkman phone brings features:
* 2-inch screen with resolution of 128 x 160
* 1.3MP Camera
* Support GPRS
* Connectivity with Bluetooth stereo headphones compatible
* FM Radio, MP3 player and video recording
* Memory Stick Micro (M2) support up to 2GB
* Battery life up to 9 hours of talk and standby up to 425 hours

Sony Ericsson W205 Walkman phone has two variant models, W205 Walkman phone supports GSM/GPRS/900/1800 and the other is W205a supports GSM/GPRS 850/1900. These phones are available in Ambient Black color. There is no information about prices and availability in market.
