New Sony Vaio P gets PS3 Remote Play, GPS and accelerometer
After Sony VGP-BMS20 Bluetooth Mouse for VAIO E Series, Sony also has announced new Vaio P mobile computer that packed with accelerometer and PS3 Remote Play. According to manufacture, new Sony Vaio P is smaller than a notebook and smarter than a smartphone, which in addition the colorful design and makes perfect partner for on-the-move computing.
The new features are brings the PS3 Remote play to its Vaio Line-up, which is capable to access to PS3 contents and even recorded TV programs. Another new most important is an accelerometer and GPS function as well as digital compass. New Sony Vaio P is comes with 5 different color options and a Crocodile skin.
The new Sony Vaio P is powered by a 1.60GHz Intel Atom Z530 (VPCP119KJ) or a 2.13GHz Intel Atom Z560 processor, 2GB of RAM, 64GB SSD, and an Intel SCH US15W chipset.
The Sony Vaio P slimline notebook packs a 8-inch widescreen LCD display with resolution of 1600×768 pixel and runs Windows 7 Home Premium (32bit), as well as built-in Everywair 3G (WiMax in the JAPAN).
It is equipped with two USB 2.0 ports, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, 0.31MP camera, SD card slot, Gigabit Ethernet, and optional D-Sub. Dimensions of Sony Vaio P are 245x120x19.8 mm and weight is about 619g.
