Nexto, a manufacturer of portable devices designed for backup data storage, announced the imminent new devices Nexto NVS2500. According to the manufacturer, it can create new backup copies of data at speeds up to 80 MB/s which makes it possible to store information at a speed of 1 GB for 40 seconds.

The device is primarily intended for professionals involved in the processing of video data, and it is compatible with memory cards, Compact Flash, SDHC and MemoryStick Pro, but the maximum speed can be obtained using the SxS media. It also allows you to simultaneously back up as your internal hard disk or external hard drive connected to eSATA / USB or FireWire.

Nexto NVS2500 has a 2.4-inch LCD display, a hard shell (rugged) and free-fall sensor for maximum data protection. NVS2500 has available in the performance of hard disk 160 GB, 250GB, 350GB and 500GB. Information about prices or the exact date of marketing is not yet.
