The company offers the fastest transfers from flash devices to its internal hard drive, a claimed eight times faster than other devices. The speed is possible because the CPU isn’t used; instead, direct transfers from memory card to hard drive dump up to 1GB of data in 40 seconds.
According Crunchgear, NextoDI Nexto Extremecopied a GB and a half of HD video, for instance, in about 2′43″, it’s pretty good time. The NextoDI Nexto Extreme ND-2700 starts at $200 for 160GB and $300 for 500GB is certainly the best deal.
