Samsung has recently announced new smartphone that run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the Nexus S for Russian market. The handset will go on sale in February 2011. The Russian variant of Nexus S is looks different the US/UK variant.

The Google Nexus S in the US and UK has a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, but in Russia has 4-inch Super Clear LCD (TFT) display. In other words, it does technically will be similar to Samsung S8530 Wave II.

Samsung Nexus S smartphone is the world’s first smartphone, its screen is made by Contour Display technology. Its front panel has a curved design and provides improved ergonomics and a more comfortable fit in the tube-to-face.

The Nexus S can play 720p HD video, 16GB storage capacity, MicroSD card slot, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11n, GPS, digital compass, three-axis gyroscope, accelerometer, and Near Field Communication (NFC).
